Story - Explained

Sonny Hayes was a rising F1 star in the 1990s. A big crash destroyed his career. He left F1, became a taxi driver, a gambler, a broken man. 30 years later, his old friend Ruben, who now owns a failing F1 team APXGP, calls him. The team is last in every race. They need a driver who knows risk.

Sonny joins as a second driver with a young, arrogant rookie Joshua Pearce. Joshua thinks Sonny is too old. Sonny thinks Joshua is too careless. Their fight becomes the heart of the film. Can two opposite drivers work together to save the team?

The film shows real F1 world - pit stops in 2 seconds, team radio, tyre strategy, rain race, night race. You will learn how F1 really works, while enjoying a powerful human story about second chances.

Acting

• Brad Pitt: At 61 years, he drove real F1 cars at 180 mph. His face shows age, pain, experience. Best performance after Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
• Damson Idris: Young, fast, emotional. His fight scenes with Pitt are superb. His crash scene made audience silent.
• Javier Bardem: As team owner, he is warm, funny and desperate. You feel his pain when team loses.

Racing - Why 5 / 5?

Director Joseph Kosinski used real F1 cars, real tracks - Silverstone, Monza, Spa. Cameras were placed on cars, on helmets, on tyres. You feel every turn, every brake, every crash. Sound is so powerful, you must watch in IMAX with loud sound. On mobile, you will miss 70% of the experience.

Liked / Did Not Like

Liked: Real racing, real sound, emotional story, Brad Pitt superb, best climax race of 2025. Did Not Like: Story is predictable in places, second half a little long, some technical terms are hard for new viewers.

Verdict: If you love cars, speed, or even if you do not know F1, watch this film in theatre. Do not wait for OTT.

Story - Explained

Clark Kent is young, new in his job at Daily Planet, and also new as Superman. The world does not fully trust him. Some people love him, some people fear him. Lex Luthor, a rich genius, hates Superman. He believes Superman is too powerful and dangerous.

Superman must prove that power is not for ruling, power is for helping. He must save the city, save Lois, and also save his own image. The film is about hope, not darkness. It asks - can one good man change a cynical world?

Acting

David Corenswet is perfect - tall, kind eyes, warm smile. He looks like Superman from comics. Rachel Brosnahan as Lois is smart, bold, funny. Nicholas Hoult as Lex is cold, intelligent, scary without shouting. Best Lex after many years.

What Is Different?

Old Superman films were dark and serious. This film is bright, colourful, funny. Superman has a dog named Krypto - the dog steals every scene. Kids loved Krypto the most in theatre. Action is clean, not bloody. Family can watch together.

Liked: Hopeful story, new Superman, Lois Lane superb, Krypto dog, clean action. Did Not Like: Too many characters in first half, Lex plan gets complex, villain screen time less in climax.

3. Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025) - Full Review

In Short: Dinosaurs are back, but this time the story is darker, scarier, and more real. If you loved Jurassic Park (1993), you will love this.

Story - Explained

5 years after Jurassic World Dominion, dinosaurs are dying. The world is too hot, too polluted for them. Only a few dinosaurs live near the equator, on a secret island. A team is sent to collect DNA from 3 giant dinosaurs - land, water, air. That DNA can save human lives by making a new medicine.

The team lands on the island, but the island is not empty. It has mutant dinosaurs - experiments that went wrong. These mutants are bigger, scarier, and more dangerous than normal dinosaurs. The team must survive, collect DNA, and escape before night.

Dinosaurs - Explained

The best dinosaur is the Mutant T-Rex - 2x bigger, with extra teeth, with strange eyes. The water dinosaur scene - in a river, at night, with a boat - is the scariest scene in the whole Jurassic series. Theatre audience held their breath for 5 minutes.

Liked: Scarlett Johansson action superb, mutant dinosaurs fresh, island visuals beautiful, scary night scenes. Did Not Like: First 30 minutes slow, some characters are weak, story is similar to old Jurassic films.

4. The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) - Full Review

Story - Explained

In a retro 1960s world, 4 astronauts get cosmic powers - Reed can stretch, Sue can become invisible, Johnny can become fire, Ben becomes a rock man. They are not just heroes, they are a family. Reed and Sue are about to become parents. Their baby is special - the baby may be the most powerful being in the universe.

Galactus, a giant who eats planets, comes to Earth. He wants the baby. He says - give me the baby, I will spare Earth. If they refuse, he will eat Earth. The family must decide - save their baby or save the world? That emotional choice makes this film different from other Marvel films.

Why This Film Works?

Retro 1960s design - old cars, old TV, old fashion - looks beautiful and fresh. Family chemistry feels real - they fight like family, they love like family. Galactus is scary - 100 feet tall, voice deep, eyes glowing. His entry scene is one of the best Marvel villain entries.

Liked: Retro look, family story, Galactus superb, baby angle emotional. Did Not Like: Climax is a little fast, some jokes are weak, second half action is less.

5. Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025)

In Short: Tom Cruise does the impossible again. Real stunts, no green screen. He jumps from a plane, hangs from a train, dives under water. This is the final part of Ethan Hunt story.

Story - Explained

Ethan Hunt must stop a dangerous AI called The Entity. The Entity can control every computer, every weapon, every secret in the world. If it falls in wrong hands, the world will end. Ethan has 3 days to find a secret key, a secret submarine, and stop the AI.

The film is 2 hours 49 minutes, but you will not feel bored. Every 20 minutes there is a big stunt - plane chase, underwater fight, train fight, bike chase. Tom Cruise did all stunts himself at age 62. That is why audience respects him so much.

Best Stunt?

The plane stunt - Cruise hangs outside a moving plane at 10,000 feet, with no safety wire visible. Theatre audience clapped for 1 minute. The underwater submarine scene - 10 minutes without dialogue, only sound of water - is the most tense scene of 2025.

Liked: Real stunts, Tom Cruise, emotional farewell, best action of 2025. Did Not Like: Very long, story is complex, need to watch previous part to understand.

6. Wicked: For Good (2025) - Musical Magic

Story - Explained

Elphaba, the green witch, is now called Wicked by everyone. Glinda, her best friend, is now famous and loved. Their friendship is broken. Elphaba must decide - fight for what is right, even if the world hates her, or give up and live quietly? Glinda must decide - support her friend or support the powerful Wizard?

The film has 5 new songs, all beautiful. The song where Elphaba and Glinda meet for the last time made many people cry in theatre. The visuals - Emerald City, flying monkeys, magic broom - look like a dream.

Liked: Songs superb, acting emotional, visuals magical. Did Not Like: Slow in middle, too much singing for action lovers, need to watch Part 1 first.
